DC Trainer: who they are and how they work

DC Trainer is the name Don’t Care uses internally for whoever applies Metodo DC. It is not a public title nor a healthcare profession: it is how we refer to the professional who follows a path from the first observation through to goals that can be checked over time.

What a DC Trainer is

The DC Trainer is the professional who applies Metodo DC, integrating movement observation, biomechanics and breathing to build and follow personalised and measurable paths, always within the limits of their own professional qualification.

Metodo DC

Metodo DC is a structured system of observation, analysis and training. Instead of looking at a single spot, it observes how the body organises itself as a whole and turns what emerges into operational choices: what to assess, where to start, what to look at again and when. Every decision has a stated reason and every piece of work has a goal.

Three readings that work together

Movement observation
How you actually move and how you connect one movement to the next: walking, bending, rotating, pushing, lifting. What counts is not only whether the movement works, but how efficiently and with which strategies.
Biomechanics
How joints and levers behave: how much range you express, how much control you have within that range, where movement stops and how load gets distributed.
Breathing
Breathing as a base for stability and recovery: rhythm, postural support and the ability to come back to a calm state after effort or a demanding day.

How Metodo DC works: movement, biomechanics and breathing

How a personalised, measurable path is built

  1. Listening. What you feel, what you would like to do and how your day is shaped: hours seated, sports played, repeated loads.
  2. Observation. Movement is looked at in its components: range, control, precision, breathing under load. It is not a diagnostic examination: it describes how you move today.
  3. Priorities. From what emerges we choose where to start and why, with explicit goals rather than generic ones.
  4. Looking again. The same reference points are observed again over time: that is what makes the path measurable, not a promise of results.

Who it is for

The physiological foundations are the same at every age, but goals and ways of working differ. That is why the paths are distinct: adults, children and teenagers, athletes and sports people.

What you can start from

  • Posture: how you stand, sit and carry load through the day.
  • Stiffness and limited mobility: everyday movements that cost more effort than they used to.
  • Movement control: keeping stability even where range is greatest.
  • Breathing: breathing better as a base for posture and recovery.
  • Recurring tension that keeps coming back in the same place.
  • Back pain and the neck area: these are starting points for a movement assessment, not conditions that are diagnosed or treated here.
  • Sports movement quality and load management, for those who train.
  • Personalised training, built around you rather than a one-size-fits-all plan.

Samuele Chellini, DC Trainer and Kinesiologist at Don’t Care

Samuele Chellini

DC Trainer and Kinesiologist

Samuele Chellini is a Kinesiologist, a keen athlete and a DC Trainer. He applies Metodo DC by integrating movement observation, biomechanics and breathing to build and follow personalised, measurable pathways. He is the point of reference for movement analysis and for the structured recording of measurements in the personal pathway record used for children and teenagers, adults and athletes. He combines field observation, measurements and the person’s feedback to identify priorities, compensations and asymmetries that may contribute to overload, pain or interruptions in activity, translating the findings into practical guidance for training and injury prevention. He coordinates the DC Trainers so that every pathway applies Metodo DC with clear goals that can be checked over time.

Frequently asked questions

What is a DC Trainer?
It is the professional who applies Metodo DC, integrating movement observation, biomechanics and breathing to build and follow personalised and measurable paths, always within the limits of their own professional qualification. It is an internal name of Don’t Care, not a title issued by an external body.
How do DC Trainer, kinesiologist and physiotherapist differ?
«DC Trainer» describes the role inside Don’t Care: it says which method is applied, not which profession is practised. «Kinesiologist» is the professional qualification of the person who currently holds that role with us. A physiotherapist, instead, is a healthcare professional who assesses and treats clinical conditions: that is a different field, and when it is needed, that is who you turn to, along with your doctor.
Is Don’t Care a gym?
No. There is no open-access equipment floor and we do not sell memberships to train on your own. It starts with a movement assessment and continues with a supervised path, one to one or in small groups.
Can the path start from posture, stiffness or back pain?
Yes, as starting points to be assessed: we observe how you move and work on mobility, breathing and control. Nothing here is diagnosed, pain is not treated and we do not promise it will go away. If pain is acute or persistent, the first reference remains a healthcare professional.
What happens in the first session?
It starts with a conversation about what you feel and how your day goes, then movement is observed: range, control, precision and breathing under load. From there come the priorities and the reference points that will be looked at again over time.
Where is Don’t Care?
The studio is in Savona, at Piazza Guglielmo Marconi 1/3. Assessment and follow-ups can also take place online, while in-person work remains the reference for observing movement closely.
